I've NEVER loved my legs and I am DETERMINED to wear a pair of shorts this summer. I maybe have owned 4-5 pair of shorts my entire life. Is that crazy? I have a sexy little pair of dressy shorts I bought right before I got pregnant as a goal. I wanted to wear them out on a date with my hubby. Needless to say, I have yet to wear them.
GOODNESS GRACIOUS! Day 2 of 2015 is in the books. I've been at this for 8 months straight now, the longest I've EVER stuck to any fitness or health routine. TODAY, I AM SORE!!! People tend to think because I'm a health and fitness coach that I don't struggle with THE SAME things they struggle with. I'm not a super hero, people. Although, I do refer to myself as SUPER MAMA at least once a day. ;)
I love being sore. Do you? It makes me realize I pushed a little further than the day before. It means my body discovered a body part I didn't know existed...or at least forgot was there. What comforts me is knowing that there are THOUSANDS of other people across the world that are feeling this SAME soreness and working through it JUST. LIKE. ME. Thousands of others started a brand new journey yesterday as a fresh new start to 2015. I, myself, started a brand new program. One that will help me target my least favorite body part....my legs and lower half.
It's going to take a lot more SORE days to get to wear the shorts above and feel confident and sexy in them but I'm excited to see some progress. Are you with me? Are you working through the soreness? Don't give up! It will SO be worth it!
