Last month I was given a lemon that did not turn out to be Lulu's. We had a false positive pregnancy test that really threw George and I for a loop. It's funny how you can plan out your entire life within 24 hours -- and then those plans can come to a screeching halt within the next 48hrs.
For the first time since I started my postpartum health and fitness journey, I felt like I was spiraling out of control with my nutrition. I'm an emotional eater by nature. Being healthy is a choice EVERY DAY and I've been making one too many bad choices the last month that have finally caught up with me. Even though a false positive is nothing compared to the pregnancy journey of so many, I let it affect me in so many ways. Although, I've continued to workout every day, I've put on about 7lbs over the last month...and that of course has ended up making me feel even worse.
I know God has a plan for our family and I'm grateful for the bump in the road because it's brought George and I even closer....and who would complain about getting to practice making a baby?! smile emoticon
The reason I am sharing this with you is that I know so many of you are struggling with emotional eating for one reason or another. You are not alone. What I've learned since this journey is that our emotional eating stems from our emotional health...or lack of. When our minds and hearts aren't right...how can we expect our bodies to follow? While it took my mind and heart a little longer to get back on track and see God has an even better plan for our family, I AM FINALLY READY to turn this ship around and I want to invite you along with me!
Next month, I'm taking it BACK TO THE BASICS. I know exactly what I need to do to get back on track -- MIND, BODY, AND SOUL -- and I want to share with you the same invaluable information that has changed my life in every way. If you struggle with emotional eating or have never quite been able to get all of your "health buckets" (mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, and financial health) in check, next month my challenge group will be focused on NUTRITION, FITNESS, & MENTAL HEALTH.
If this sounds like something you'd be interested in joining, send me an email to bbcoachheatherb@gmail.com with "BACK TO THE BASICS" in the subject line so I can share the details and save you a spot! heart emoticon
