We didn't go to church this morning or last week. Nico is teething and MISERABLE...and on top of that, we are "church shopping". Our campus closed and we have been visiting other churches to see where God is leading us. #pleaseprayforustofindanewhome
SO THAT GOT ME TO THINKING...
Don't get me wrong. Going to church is a GREAT thing because you surround yourself with other likeminded people BUT my spiritual growth has happened mostly OUTSIDE of the church, in my quiet time with God. #truth
Don't get consumed with what LOOKS good to others. I was a chameleon for many years and knew what to say and how to look in front of the right people. I could look "Christian" in front of one group and "worldly" in front of another. It's not only EXHAUSTING but it leaves you empty and always searching for more. Get consumed with your personal relationship with Jesus and EVERYTHING else will take care of itself.
CHURCH IS WHEREVER YOU GO.
